canadian immigrant - najia
#1
i am 2001 graduate, i have passed step 1 and 2 in first attempts, but my cs is in november, i wont be ecfmg certified until january, i am a landed immigrant in canada,no lor from us

what r my chances in 2007 match?

is it true that being a canadian immigrant i need to pass mccee before i can get j1 visa or it is only required by a canadian citizen [ which i will become after a year]?

if i pass step 3 and go for h1 visa, is this a better option for canadian immigrants/citizens?

Hi, No one can predict the chances as long as score is not known..I m sure u must have done a good job on ur steps.
U wud need to pass mccee does'nt matter u r immigrant or citizen as long as u r an IMG.If u r a Canadian graduate then u dont need it...
MCCEE is required to get "letter of need" for J1 visa processing..

H1 is ofcourse a better choice. If u go for H1 visa then u dont need MCCEE..U need to have step 3..
I hope it helped.
Good luck.
