the question is how the US med students can have 6 months of clinical experience in an accredited U.S. or Canadian teaching hospital before they graduate from med school? are these programs for residency year 2???

there are many criteria,

eg disease is 20 years or more
there is evedence of dysplasia
there are severe symptoms interfering with patients life
disease not control even with steroids and other routine therapy
