How to set an interview date - pathfinder

Can someone tell me that selecting the inetrview date,is this something tricky that can increase ur chances of getting selected?Please let me know that getting very first or middle ot last date of inetrview makes any difference?

People say, if you want prematch, get the interview early.

If you want to get matched, set it later so the programs have fresh memory of you. (First Aid also says so, January is preferred. But maybe it is telling AMGs to do so)
