Hello Folks,

I interviewed at couple of places. Now I am done with all of them.

Did not receive any prematches so far even after sending thank u letters.

One of my friend suggested me to go for a second look !!!!!

I had few doubts abt how to get a second look

1 - Do we just have to walk in the program for the second look after notifying them abt ur visit irrespective of them saying 'yes' or 'no' ?

2 - Do we have to ask the PD abt the second look ? and depending on his decision we can go for second look or no ?

express your wish to PC for 2nd look by a well written e mail .... and wait for reply. just contact them once.. dont buzz them again and again..and before that call PC and also ask them that do they call candidates for second look routinely or not..... if its not their way to do it then there is no question.....

not to manny programs do the second look .... and almost all frnds matched with just IV no second look and no reply to thank you letters even....

The Cheif resident will allways tell u as a part of the interview day if they welcome second visit. Usually its them who organises it, but as my nauty frnd puts it..u gotta ask PC for it first..
