Transfer of H1B visa - dockart

Hi Folks,

IF we have a pre existing H1B visa..and if the hospital is willing to transfer..when should we have the Step 3 results? Is it possible to avoid the Step 3 exam at all?

you can't avoid step 3...no wayyyyyyyyyyy
i think your visa research H1, so if you want to keep your H1 as a resident, you have to have your result ready before june 1st (ASAP!!!) or you can accept J1 and you can take step 3 later, 2nd or 3rd year of your residency (it depends on the program)
