I was wondering if anyone will be traveling from New Jersey to Massachusetts on the 1st of February. I'd like to rent a car or discuss other means of transportation if anyone is interested, please post

East coast has good transport options. Always renting a car have comfort. Tolls are expensive in NJ/NY to MA route.

Amtrak has also good deals. See http://tickets.amtrak.com/itd/amtrak/WeeklySpecials.

Finally buses from China town. See the websites like http://www.fungwahbus.com, http://www.chinatown-bus.com. They have rides from $15, and schedules for every 1 hour.

i am driving back home on 30th jan from Manhattan to Worcester. I wouldn't mind giving you a ride, if you want to figure out something else (chinatown bus ???) for your return journey.
