18yo F gave birth 72hrs ago. she now has tachpnea. vital signs are normal. diffuse wheezing on chest auscultation. cxr is normal. ekg shows right heart strain. most likely diagnosis
a. ARDS
b. aspiration pneumonia
c. bronchopneumonia
d. pulm embolism
e. CHF

I think this one is d, pulmonary embolism, ARDS has opaque CXR (ground glass), aspiration pneumonia should have fever, the same is true withbronchopneumonia. Most PEs have normal chest CXR and tachypnea, CHF should have congestions in CXR, Keley B line etc.

D.......most likely it is amniotuc fluid embolism.which clasically occurs after rupture of membranes and labour .....CXR would be normal and Rt heart strain is present
