Hi all
I have heard many times that the PS should not be longer than a single page.
How do I make sure that it is not longer than a single page when the ERAS program seems to have different parameters? I know it is font size 10 but what will be the page dimensions?

then why don't you use word count. please don't ask me how many words are ideal because I don't know. Somebody said 750-850.

The word count is 835 but when I put it into courier font size 10 it is 1.5 pages long.
Is it really so bad to have a statement longer than one page?

Its not bad but it just shud'nt be long enuff to frighten the PD to delve into ur PS.
So ideally 1-1.25 pages is advised. try cutting down to 800 words & 1.25 page.

My Ps contains 430 words, nearly one page after erasing 2 paragraphs.

how do you know it is nearly 1 page or 1.25 pages?
are you using a word processor program like MS Word? How do you know the page margins?
