Can someone give your opinion about the OB/GYN program at Rochester General Hospital,NY. It seems the program lost a few of the residents..so wondering if I should rank it high or not...and no fellowships ever...

its a very bad program

Could you please explain why? I figured out that the training experience is very good...lots of surgeries...even robotic surgery!!!!!

I think this program is not as good as others I've been to and a lot of residents have left and some have joined them in the middle of the way. I think the residents are there because they didn't get much other choices... Anyway it is good enough to get good trainning specially surgical GYN experience. And not that much OB that is also good. So I'll rank them as 6-8 probably. Probably better experience than the programs in NYC

i have no choice its the ONLY obgyn interview i got

but i very disappointed at the hospital the interview everything

if you really want OB and it's your only shot go for it! And you can always try to find a second year position anywhere else afterwards, there openings everywhere every year
