Evaluate to see if the patient is hemodynamically stable
Maintaining blood pressure and not tachycardic therefore suggesting there is not active bleeding then...continue to observe after having done a FAST continue to monitor vitals and follow up with Hemoglobin and hematocrit every 4 hours if there is any suspicion of bleeding...straight to the OR...explaratory laparotomy and splenectomy best of luck compliments of: http://www.02demand.com hope you enjoy |
