a 19-year-old female was found to have a 0.9 cm nodule in her right thyroid lobe.
labs : normal T3, T4, and TSH levels.
ultrasound: solid solitary nodule.

what is next best step?
a. fine needle aspiration
b. repeat ultrasound nest year.
c. perform radioactive iodine uptake scan.
