If all goes according to plan, I'll be done with Step1, 2CK & CS by Mar 2006, and applying for 2007 match on September 1st 2006. Will getting step 3 in the meantime help both my residency application, and getting H1/GC?
Also I know you need to be in the US to do Step 3 but, as with Step 2 CS, can you go over for the exam only, or do you need to be working in the USA at time of sitting?
