Doing well in an interview will not guarantee matching there.
Not doing well in an interview makes it difficult to match there.
It is whether they rank you high and whether the people ranked higher that you rank them high that will determine if you will match.
Ranking them high ensures that you will not match to a less preferred program if this program still has space when they get to your name on their list.
