Good topic!
The pupil dilates instead of constricting when the light moves from the good eye to the bad eye(AFFRENET DEFFECT)
Please explain why IT WILL BE DILATES ??

In such a situation the retina is damaged but not completely, i.e. like when there is damage to the optic nerve. Thus the retina tries to take advantage of even the slightest possible amount of light that reaches the pigmented epithelium. This is why the pupil dilates, so as to facilitate the retina absorb as much light as it can. The pupil of the contralateral eye also dilates, thanks to the conjugate light reflex.
