What would you do if it happens? - krab
#1
If you know that you could find a spot where you could be a observer-volunteer and had no

chance to get real hands-on experience counted as externship but you would have a chance

to meet and talk to Director of GME of AMA there, so what would you do to increase your

chances to get into residency program in the future? Is it better to show over-enthusiasm of

medicine or just better to be yourself?

Please give some suggestions I will really appreciate it.

USCE- externship> observership> research> volunteer.
Hosp> clinic

Grab whatever u have rite now and keep looking for better opportunities.
If ur cv fits in the application criteria of that residency pgm, only than its worth doing a mth of obship and getting a LOR from a attending there.
Volunteer work i guess is useless, better to shadow a doctor in the clinc rather.
