OK, let me try to explain

32. question says that transport depends on the concentration gradient only,, so it should be diffusion. as we know there are only two types of diffusion: 1/ simple diffusion and 2/ facilitated diffusion. question says that when the extracellular concentration of the agen exceeds 10 mM, no further increase in the rate of uptake is observed. so this diffusion is saturable. only facilitated diffusion is saturable. next qustion says structurally simular compounds pass through the cell membrane, but at a lower rate. this is also characteristic of facilitated diffusion (stereospecificity).
next question says quabain, an inhibitor of Na+/K+ ATPase fails to inhibit transport,, that means this is not secondary active transport (ion gated coupling)..
so the answer is b. facilitated diffusion

42. from given answer options only d. insertion of a transposon make sense,,, since question says mutant plasmid increased in size by approximately 5200 bp. other answer choices does not fit for this statement..

i hope this helps
