i think staph aureus is part of normal colony in nose.....so unless there's some break/injury to nasal mucosa,how can it get into u'r blood.....if it was some kind of surgery in nose i agree with nose as the source of infection......

S.aureus is normal flora on nosal mucosa and skin.
it's spread via hands (e.g. personal staff) or after surgical wounds. I think batteriemia is due to surgical skin breaking and s.aureus comes from skin

that bcoz after the surgery ryles tube is used to aspirate the stomach secretion and ryles tube may carry the infection to the site of sugery .
