hi ppl i did alotta stuff for usmle review over 1 yr of hardcore studyin did ...kaplan 3x...UW2x...goljian audio 2x....dit 2010 with fa 2x...n currently doin kap qbank..took online nbme 7 1 week ago n got 540


im lost tho i dont kno how to review my fa..like if i should just be reviwing n doing questions n reading my FA on my own?? or keep watchin kaplan vids over n over again??


please help i am frusrated n i have no clue how to maximaze the time i have left n each day i get more n more scared

please advise n may god help us!

first. relax and understand with ur 540 ur sitting pretty. studywhat you know. look at ur score report. work on weak areas. and be consistent . stop freakin out ur only gonna hurt urself. my exam too is at the end of december . im getting scared and i have an even less score on my nbme. but i am confident with my prep and my brain. i know i will be peaking at the perfect time. so relax and stick to ur plan.


revise FA. do questions. and do not add sources.

thanks ed ur right so i should stop watching vids n just read my FA(whch has all notes) n do questions n question explanations?

how should i break FA up do 100 pages for 4 days? or 150 pgs for 3 days? n just keep repeating that??


im like confused cuz was doing DIT over again like n i was 6 days into it then i just stoped n today i started watchin nuero kap vids n then i just stoped

If I were you ,I would stick to UW notes,FA and nbme questions.You can divide your time among UW notes,FA and nbme questions,like ,for e.g 5 hrs each-this will keep you even out of boredom.samideb

also others are welcome to advise n share suggestions...

sucks cuz doing 46 questions takes me about 50-55 mins but reviiwn them takes the whole dam day!

i can suggest that take another nbme ( 11 or 12),when u see high performance in ur nbmes ,it gonna raise ur morale, also do FA with a study partner for 3hrs ,it will again help you to increase ur confidence ...Do FA,ur own notes daily, focus on ur wrong answers as well as ur weak areas,do mixed questions and above all just believe in urselfwish you very goodluck
