Just found this on wiki.....

HSL is activated when the body needs to mobilize energy stores, and so responds positively to catecholamines, ACTH, and negatively to insulin


so a is more likely to be the answer, though the argument for E is not too weak either :p

The answer is A

because the diabetes is not being well controlled ,assume the response to insulin is low and the patient would have overstimulated glucagon pathway

The fall in insulin activates the HSL that hydrolizes TG..........>FA+Glycerol
