updated dec 2005: minimum step 3 requirement! - tj

could someone please explain the minimum requirement before one can apply for step 3? it says in the new bulletin from fsmb(dec 2005) http://www.fsmb.org/usmle_eliinitial.html .. that a candidate must fullfill the requirements of individual licensing authority and it says that all of the states now requires post graduate training before one can submit a step 3 application. does this means that we now need to go to residency prior to applying and or taking the step 3? thank you for your clarification on this matter.

No you dufus, what you were looking at was the initial permanent medical licensing requirements.
