Take 2 NBMEs together or 1 NBME at a time? - risenshine
#1
I'm about to take another NBME to see where I'm at this point, but I don't know if I should take 2 NBMEs together or 1 NBME at a time? Also, if I do take both together should I add both NBME scores and take the average as my real score?

I want to stimulate the real exam experience or should that be done near exam. Please, let me know if you have already passed the exam or still studying. Smile

I'm still studying:

If you take a NBME, the result will be fairly accurate in terms of your score. So, if that's your goal, then one should suffice. I think two scores at the same time would just give you a range.

However, if you want to simulate the exam and feel more comfortable doing two, then go ahead. Or, just do qbank questions and simulate it that way. It'd be cheaper. Tongue

All the best.

Fmg8, thanks for your advise. I'm sorry I missed your post. I agree with you. I think I will use NBMEs just for evaluation and other qbanks for stimulating the real exam experience. Thanks a lot for responding buddy. Smile
