we on this old img thread appreciate you so much for coming back and giving back to us whatever you can even after you have won in this game! We are in dire need of people like you to guide us by taking a look at our credentials and see what you think we should be doing next to improve our total package. Please continue to visit here as often as you can, whenever you find some time amidst your hectic schedule. Words cannot express our gratitude to you. Having been on this path until this 2014 match, you know exactly our pain, our agony, our anxiety, our hopes and frustration and what not !

If you have gained some insight into this application review and IV calls process, please throw us some light on these things that bother us:
1.What does acknowledgement mean? Does it even mean that our files will be kept for reviewing again for consideration?
2. Is it ok to send an email to the PC /PD to show our interest, after receiving an acknowledgemnt letter with sugar coated words like 'your app is under review, we will soon call or email you if considered for an IV' etc etc ?
3. Is there even any difference in receiving an acknowledgement or straight out rejection letter or do they mean the same?
4. Does any program send out an email or call for an IV after sending an acknowledgement letter?
5. Are rejection letters sent after actually reading our application in entirety or straight away after being filtered by software according to meeting their criteria?

We would really appreciate if you could take a few minutes to answer these doubts to clear the anxiety of some of us here. Thank you so much in advance.
BTW, your credentials are just awesome!! I am sure that with all your helpful nature, you are destined to become an awesome Dr !
