Can you pls tell why demand for radiology by AMGs is dropping? I find it hard to believe since radiology is still one of the top tier specialties

Non-US IMGs applying to general surgery in 2014 with a step 1 score between 251-260, 20 people matched and 7 unmatched (of those who ranked programs I think). In internal medicine 163 matched and 33 unmatched. The problem with surgical specialties is that most do not sponsor visa, or they need 1 year of USCE. There arent a lot of programs where you can get interviews without personal connections.
