what are the safe places for married couples in new york? is it possible to find an apartment in manhattan? what are the price ranges? where can I find this info...any websites?

Yes it is possible to find an appartment in Manhattan, but it will be very very expensive

yonkers is good 30-40 min from manhattan in subway i guess.
one br- 110-1400
manhattan is very expensive can forget about it with single income
