I am an old IMG , I passed all steps including step3 on first attempt Alhamdulliah with average scores , did lots of in patient and out patient oberseverships and externships in US hospitals , have a 1 year research experience with 1 publication, have 1 year diploma in clinical research , and currently doing MPH in state university , this was my third match , in which I only got 2 interviews 1IM, 1 FM . I don't know what to do to improve my cv please suggest me as I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel . right now sooo depress and cant think of anything , this time I also worked hard on my interview skills , I feel hope less .Please suggest me how to improve my CHANCES next year .

Just find some connections, this is not a fair and healthy competition. Many people with much worse credentials get in easilly, I am in the same boat as you are. I am sorry for all people who are in our positions.

Yes, I am in the same boat too. Old grad and passed from the 1st attempts. No any IV for the 2nd year. It is not fair for sure! I mean in this country? Oh, yeah, it is unfair! Law makers have solved everything even gay marriage issue but when it comes to old IMGs, they get encephalopathy! Why? I just can't get it.
