In sheehan s syndrome what happens to
gonadotropin , prolactin < serum> , sodium , potassium , aldosterone

sometimes hyponatremia also occurs.

my thinking k increase
aldosterone normal
because it depends upon mainly renin angiotensin system

Ahmad you may be right. This is my explanation
Here zona glomerulosa is unaffected as it is not controlled by ACTH.(Zona fasciculata and reticularis are affected—dec cortisol )
Adrenalin and noradrenalin can’t maintain BP due to lack of Glucocorticoids(permissive action)
Dec BP stimulates rennin- aniotensin –aldosterone system and leads to increase Aldosterone.

Sheehan syndrome will cause secondary adrenal insufficiency -dec ACTH dec cortisol-normal aldosterone since ACTH doesnt affect aldosterone-normal K-hyponatremia due to decrease free water clearance from hypocortisol and hypothyroidism
