Hello all,
I am asking about 7 year validity for finishing all steps.
Is it from taking first step, and is it applicable to all states?

This I know for sure: its 7 years from when you pass step one to be eligible for step three.
Its a requirement of a handful of US states so you would petition the USMLE that to be eligible for
license in state XYZ you need to retake the USMLE steps unless you have already taken and passed
Step 3 before the 7 years ran out. Once step 3 is passed it done forever

Thank you student1960,
Is it from passing step 1 or the first step? I did cs exam first, then ck, and lastly step1.

The wording is "7 years to complete USMLE"
