Its one of the TORCH infections. Has intracranial ring enhancing lesions, chorioretinitis, hepatosplenomegaly, jaundice. Treatment Pyrimethamine plus sulfadiazine and folate for 4-8weeks. Transplacental is usually handling cat feces. Tox is a reactivation of a primary infection in AIDS due to immunosuppression. I felt your question is more on the lines for those taking step2/3?
