few days back my freind who is immigrant passed step 1 n step2 ck participate in some student health club got a diagnosis of being chronic carrier for hepatitus B .he has normal LFT , HBe Ag. = not reactive and assymptomatic according to his physician needs no treament only SGPT monitoring . now he is depressed about his future plans, can anyone please clearly guide either visit visa B1/B2 for cs or in future match n job H1B visa n residency require such kind of medical fitness n he can be rejected????????? he wants to know whether he go for steps more or just stop his struggle to his homeland????
please help any response or help will be appreciated.

Im sorry about your friend, hope he gets better.
I dont think his medical historty will effect his ability to obtain a visa.
