Does anyone know or expereinced or heard from some one who send for a recheck of usmle scores and recevied a change in scores?Is there a negative consequence of sending for a recheck?
When I called ecfmg they said 2 conflicting things:
If one failed then they say that you can send for recheck while taking your steps again as anything is possible(meaning your score may change and you may pass)
If one scored 85 and around they say "i wont bother "(meaning computers are always right and there is negligible chance of any change in score)
I wonder why these 2 diffrent and contrdictiory satements.
Anyone with any information please post your messages as its very very important and useful for many candidates.
