hi i have an attempt in cs with 99 in both steps and 3 months usce in peds with 3 - 4 uslors but am not done with my step 3...am planning to take it by august so that i can get my results in sep 2nd week .is it ok if i get my results in sep 2nd week?will that affect my application badly?

Are you an IMG?

Step3 in most cases is not required until you need a H1B. If you need a H1B then they ask you to take Step3 but if you will get your results in September then I don't see a problem.

@residency match thanks for the reply!!! yeah those are my credentials and 3 months observership not externship...am an img need visa..am gonna apply for peds only so wat are my chances to get ivs? will get an iv at all?

I know the CS attempt is a negative. But I think your USCE should compensate. So, I think you stand a good chance of getting interviews. Also, a good Step 3 score will surely help you further. Best wishes.
