after all the prep, i got freaked out totally
i totally forgot pamhugsfoss in one pt, forgot to counsel a couple, one pt hated me frm the start, didnt complete full examinations in a couple, and my handwriting ws terrible.
but wat i did do is- knock n entered, thanked pts profusely, good basic manners, asked if they had any concerns, explained all the tests, n sum other stuff like draping etc

but i cud hav done so much better!!!!!!!!!!!!!

one thing i want to tell ppl is-- pls practice all cases in UW n FA, in front of the mirror everyday! coz ur reflexes wil help when ur tensed!

this is really a stress full exam

i gave in houston on 21 and made no of mistakes

i have dreams of csa everynight..and only thg i can do is pray

i dont want to fail..oh god

i believe not doing well on the mle steps doesent mean ur not a good doctor.. ive seen real wise ppl getting real low scores fr sum reason...

Hey caudate. it is impossible to come out of the cs clean. WHAT I MEAN BY THAT IS NOT MAKING ANY MISTAKE. I personally made a handful of mistakes. I learnt that we are going to be judged with 10 out of 12 cases. I forgot to write in the PN the MMSE, in another, I forgot to record the result of the reflex test in my PN. I did not counsel in two cases because of lack of time. You can never have it all right.
