I finally, i repeat, finally gave step 3. I thought I should give back to the forum that gave me so much since day 1 of step 1. Even on CK but didn't use it so much for 3 but it's where my journey started so it should end here. I don't think I'll pass though (I know a shocker #sarcasm).
I might have studied for 3 months give or take (on and off). Used MTB 3, FA, UW, CCS UW, UWSA 1/2, FRED for Mcq and CCS. Got to admit had the lowest in uwsa but I just wanted this to be get over with so I didn't extend the date and just gave it or at least tried to.
Speaking of the days, for the first day, I was literally Shi**ing bricks. I was not scared like this even for step 1. But as the day went by I was satisfied with it. On an average about 7 biostat per block. Questions ranged from "this is too easy there must be a catch somehwere to what on Earth is this, is this even in English?" I was drained by the time day one was done.
Day 2, and yeah I didn't had breaks in between the days. I gave them simultaneously one after other. It's funny what I've been seeing and hearing from people. I was more lost on day 2 than 1. The Mcq were more tricky and yeah there were very very wait did I say very, one more time very easy questions to wait what is this crap on day 2 as well, well minus dreaded biostat. By now y'all know we don't like each other, biostat and me.
CCS is doable. I practiced on UW (51+41) and the 6 cases on FRED. Don't be like me I did blunder on one case and was lost in another and few cases ended before I could do some pertaining things which I put in 2 minutes window thing. But all in all my second day was way worsrt than the first (even though I hate and don't know Biostats).
I really think I'll fail. I never said this in any of my steps but this time I really think the boat is sinking. It's not the end of the world I know but it's freaking 2 days exam and I don't want to give it again but it is what it is. Have lots of patience and keep yourself in toes. Don't get distracted cause apart of CCS you have 12 blocks combining 2 days. It's not a child's play. Maybe less number of questions on day 2 but even though.
Oh yeah, if you've retained step 1 nicely in your head, no need to go back and cram on step 1 stuff. They won't ask you detailed step 1 things but when they ask you'd know the answer. It's like surface step 1 so calm down with that. Focus on your CK knowledge and step 3 knowledge.
I won't be logging in frequently but I sure can answer whatever I can to assist you guys to not to make my kinda mistakes.
The exam is doable, for sure but...well I think I screwed it up.
Lastly, may the force be with you.
P.S. Dang didn't realize I wrote like a memo thing. Sorry!
