*The following drugs tend to cause cholestasis (+/- hepatitis):

oral contraceptive pill

antibiotics: flucloxacillin, co-amoxiclav, erythromycin, nitrofurantoin

anabolic steroids, testosterones

phenothiazines: chlorpromazine, prochlorperazine

sulphonylureas

rare reported causes: nifedipine
