took exam 4/22, 23. score 86.
NBME 2 weeks before exam 430.
My statistics : CCS very high. mcq above average.
Prep time : 2.5 months, average 3 to 4 hours daily
Prep for CCS: Dr.Red CCS workshop - huge help and UW CCS practice. I did UW once, went through archer CCS materials and listened to workshop videos twice. The workshop is the major factor for my high CCS score.
Prep for MCQ : Archer lectures and master the boards,Kaplan Qbook, UW x 1. UW score 56%, USMLE CD score 76%. USMLE CD is not reflective of the exam. UW questions are way too difficult than the exam but provides good practice. I got lot of qs on exam from kaplan qbank. I think Step 2 kaplan notes with Archer lectures and notes is enough for a thorough prep.
