Gunny, I think it is defibrillation.
The man has chronic renal failure. Magnesium is not good to give in renal failure. But what is more important is he is hemodynamically unstable= He is not conscious.Unresponsive.Apparently no blood is going to his brain. He is in Torsades right now!
Defibrillate him. He is dying. No time for magnesium, else. After defib, when everything returns to normal you can start magnesium, stop haloperidol, overdrive pace whatever.
