am i too late ? - son67

My brother-in-law applied late November last year and didn't match. At that time, he got rejections one after another shortly after the applications. I guess that most hospitals would not screen more candidates after December so he got the application bounced back. This year, he got a prematch already.

well if you have applied already then you are not late. If you have yet to apply contact programs and apply asap. otherwise go for next year's match. are you an old grad or a recent one?

If you have GC,then take your time, take step 2,in the meanwhile get your diploma verified by your med school, get your mspe. Then register with eras, and nrmp, and get the list for IMG friendly programs(so that you dont waste your eras chances apply to the UNiv prgms that will snub you).

Then get ready for the scramble

But if you dont have GC,and you know people in programs, you can still use them for scramble, cos all you need is someone to put in a goods word for you,and if you are good(not scores now, interpersonal skills),the PD will want your signature.

But try and relax, dont be in a big hurry, but dont slow down either
