To Sunny,
I had done my grad long time back and so it made sense for me to take 1 first.But if u are a recent grad then I don't think that should be a problem.I don't exactly remember the no of Step 1 qs but definitely no biochem types.I think I had some micro and path qs.
To ama,
I took the exam on 16th June,score got reported on oasis on 14th July and got it in mail on 21st july.I called ECFMG twice to enquire about my scores.
To none,
I had only 3-4 qs in total on biostatistics.One I remember was on Sensitivity of test.

To aks,
If you have to chose between usmleworld and kaplan q bank then choose the first one..........this is just my opinion.
NMS qs are not at all near the exam pattern so you can skip though it gives good practise to do as many qs as possible.
I don't know much about kaplan q bank cd,haven't seen those qs.
To Step 2,
No I didnot use blue print series,I used only kaplan notes.
Personally I felt step 1 was more tougher than 2.Even while preparing for these exams I found that Step 1 subjects to be very dry maybe coz I am a more clinical person.
I took my step 2...........6 months after my step 1.
Had 83 in 1.
