A few things about the exams
1. If you know what drug to give for a patient with asthma, its not enuff.
2. If you know how the drug works and why he has asthma, and how it is helping him. That helps.
I hope you understand what I am trying to say. When I studied for this exam, I was kinda memorising a lot of stuff, till I realised that its not getting me anywhere with some questions. Try and ask yourself everytime you are reading "why". Why do patients with met acidosis hyperventilate? How is the adrenergic so diff from parasym, and why is that imp in our body?
These questions are just to help you think. Thou I was a good student in India, when I got here, I found it real difficult to understand the way physio works here. But the more you read it, the better you understand it. So My only advice will be, read the same notes several times, and it will sink in with time, and you will pass the next time.
