2 day's , still consider it as viral or toxic, anyhow, you don-t want the toxins inside the body, so don't stop the flow. just keep the H20 going in and treat empirically while doing tests. D.

Eventhough the diarrhea is non-bloody pt.has fever and raised WBC count
indicating either infectious or toxin related diarrhea.It is better replacing the loss than
giving anti-diarrheal drug that causes retention of the disease causing agent.
