lousy programs. dont even need to go for interviews. Lots of IMGs go there to do scut work. AMGs wont stay,

TO ALLY, It is not a bad hospital. Plus, it is very near to my home.

To Emily, It is a very bad hospital, I have a friend who went there for a year. I would commute rather than going there. And the hospital might close due to financial troubles. They are using residents as phlebotomists, EKG techs, bed pushers etc. because they decided that it is cheaper. Of course!!! Also, the relationship between residents is very weird, they don't go by first names, they are DR. Something. Especially second and third years, as a first year they would just yell your last name (I guess you're not doctor enough). It is hard for europeans to adjust in that environment, maybe not so hard for people from india and pakistan because I suppose the social environment is similar to what they are used to. If you already know all this and still like the program... good luck. |
