I'm sorry I didn't specify.
The link I posted refutes any claim that the 7 year rule has been scrapped. It is very much in place and one must take care to get a good score in all steps for the same reason.

My friend took all his exams again after 7yrs to get a better score and he is in IM now.

Yes you can redo all your steps BUT ONLY AFTER THE 7 YEAR PERIOD.....my mind freaks out when I see what the usmle steps do to people.
