Dear All, thanx a lot for ur discussion. Here is the answer for this Q. Welcome comment!!

The correct answer is œD.

While this patient may later be diagnosed with bipolar
Disorder, currently the presentation is of an apparent fluoxetine-induced manic episode.
The patient would have to have had an episode of psychotic symptoms in the absence
Of a depressive or manic episode in order to be diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder.
While the psychotic symptoms that are present could be the onset of schizophrenia, the
Manic symptoms would generally not be present. Symptoms must also have been present
For at least 6 months to meet criteria for schizophrenia. The episode described appears
To be a sudden change in behavior, not a pervasive pattern of impulsive and self-destructive
Behavior that would characterize a person with borderline personality disorder.
