Correct ans is A,Alzeimer disease.
2 key things to remember:-
To fulfill the criteria of FTD,personality changes and apathy develops early in disease and then eventually follows with loss of memory and on CT it shows FOCAL fronto-temporal atrophy, rarely its symmetric.
So patient on previous visit was presented with confusion, lack of urine control(occurs in AD due to confusion),dementia and now is coming with personality changes and symptoms of depression as well, which is seen in LATE AD.CT reveals diffuse SYMMETRIC atrophy, prominently in frontal-temporal areas, its not focal as in FTD and manifestations of behavior changes are not early findings as seen in FTD.
Though, there are 4 sx of MDD or depression which can let us think ab those primary diagnosis but CT findings are not consistent with either of them.
*Not NPH,as no gait disturbances seen.
*to differentiate b/w dementia and Pseudo dementia, need to perform Dexamethasone suppression test.
