hi md08 good luck on your result, can you tell me how many questions we have in each block the first and second day and how many blocks, along with how many cases? plz list cases if you can as my exam is in one week. Thanks and good luck

day 1: 48 questions on each block, total 7 blocks,( Office 4 blocks and ER 3 blocks)
day 2: 36 questions 4 blocks(ER 2 , Office 2)
I cant tell you my cases until I get my result but if you do cases in UW and in this forum than you will be fine....just follow a definite protocol...

I see thank you very much. Do you know how many cases we have and how much time we are given per case. For the 36 question blocks do we still get one hour?

9 cases, 25 minutes each ,(20 minutes + 5 minutes for final orders)
36 q blocks = 45 minutes

they are not that much and all of the group questions are not same....in some questions you can go back and see the both of them, can make change and in some questions if you move on than it would be blocked and you can never go back on the first one.....

hey thanks md ur precious suggestion are very helpful specialy for the beginers of step3 .I just got my step2 last week & it is respecable with HIS Blessing .But I still have query : which book would be better for Geriatrc medicine ,any special suggestion,instructions.I did kaplan CK notes & thouroghly MTB3 too & now starting back with again for the step3 .
I will appreciate ur furher input & Goodluck in ur score!!!!!
