Neither for applicants nor for the program. Prematched applicant usually short-sell and they could have ended up in a better place. In a single so-so program, the prematched applicants may be far better than the NRMP applicants. Will this be a problem? You name it!

Mathmatically, the only time people should definitely accept prematch is when they only have one interview!

so all of u mean that..those quota means no. of positins any progm goes in match with....so.......

so how does programm explain to nrmp and ecfmg .................that they have 40-30 seats but only 14-15 will be for match ....and rest will be done by .prematch which is officially unofficial.....does it makes any sense to u ?not to me....coz i checked in university prog which do not offer prematch...the quota is same as in freida....then how does any community programme do such an unofficial thing so openly thru' nrmp ...........that only 14/45 will be for mtach........doent it sound too strange to be digested???
