Gottron's papules are scaly erythematous eruptions or red patches overlying the knuckles, elbows, and knees.What they r describing in question are not gottron's papules...those r mechanics hands(on finger pads) due to repetitive usage..i was fooled too...i don't want to see these type of questions in my main exam..lol

Doesn't poly cause proximal muscle weakness= which is combing difficulty so
why difficulty up and down in the stairs and Dermatological features??

I might be sounding silly or annoying but I went back to FA 2014 p 429, and the mechanic hand is mentioned under Dermato....I am sorry if I am sounding irritating. Yes, the question says mechanic hand not the typical rash as you mentioned. Thank you so much for the question.
