STAT and ROTINE orders - all STAT now on CCS - gmason

Since it is all stat orders. Do I still send the patient home and get him back or have them to wait till results come back.

@ahmedbengaber ...I have the same question but this applies for office settings only. It will not change in ER and Ward. But in office, we do not normally keep patients waiting for results to come back, right ? So, I think sending home is appropriate.
Archer in March 2015 workshop says since everything is STAT now it is ok to send them home and bring back. This works more like real life scenario. Even when you send them home, you do not lose control on the simulated time because you can always stop the clock when results arrive even with patient at home.
Archer also said the alternative option like keeping patient waiting for STAT test to come back in office is not a bad deal now because everything is made STAT so, patient does not wait too long. Therefore, no penalty.
I assume either way is ok in Office now.
Uworld has not updated any of these changes.
