b/c my stats suck, i am posting this
2nd match, us fmg 2015 grad
step 1: 189; step 2 ck: 212; step 2 CS pass 1st time; Step 3: 196.
all passes first time.
I do have extracurriculars- volunteering, small research pubs, solid LORs from US docs, and US clinical rotation experience.
I made sure to apply to programs who would take a look at me, I applied on time, (I used the fmg friendly list from my school's grad for the last 3 yrs, cross referenced them and applied to FM and IM for over 200 programs)
I got 4 FM ivs, 1 IM primary care.
I matched. So don't give up hope. analyze your weakness, edit your personal statement and application entries very well, practice iv skills very well. I apply to broad range of programs. and do your best.
