Why Vit K over FFP?

If I would of ask you pat had "active bleeding" & what you should treat him/her, then YES FFP & platelets would of be right on menu. I ask, if pat dev hypoprothrombinemia & what you would of adm, then vit K1 fit the ans for correcting PT more than 20. But again, remember if the but u check & serum conc Sal is high, vit K1 has little or no effect on PT.
